Just over here dreaming about New York Fashion week and wishing I was there. I can't even handle all the social media coverage of at all the amazing shows, and all the bloggers wearing all the amazing things. I'll be honest, my bank account is taking a big L this week with all the NYFW inspo I am getting.! A few of my favorite trends I am seeing are slip dresses, colored pants, wide leg pants, graphic tees and prints.
Speaking of prints, camo, floral and stripes make the list of my top favorite prints to wear. Prints are so fun because it adds a fresh, youthful and creative twist to your outfits because being an adult is already boring, why do we have to dress boring? To be honest, I forgot how easy and effortless wearing prints can be! It is so easy to throw on a floral top, your go to jeans and your loafers and head out the door. No accessories involved! Today's post is all about how to style prints for a put together look requiring minimal effort. Check out my 2 looks with West Kei below:
Look #1: Gibson and Latimer Camo Sweatshirt
I am not huge on camo print, but the second I put this baby on, I fell in love. First of all, it is hands down the comfiest sweatshirt ever. It's thin, but not too thin and can easily be layered with a denim jacket. I styled my camo with a fun, patch work denim skirt, a bandana neck scarf and my go to pink heeled mules. Camo is one of those prints that work with just about any look. It's safe to say, I'm obsessed with this look for a transitional fall look.
Can we talk about this floral top? This ultra- soft knit top featuring a sassy cut out detail and fresh floral print aka a winner in my book. This is so easy to throw on and go if you're looking for an ootd that says "I have my crap together, but I woke up 10 minutes before I had to leave". I am already packing this in my suitcase for my trip to Boston next month because hello comfy traveling attire!
