Fall Trends with Papaya

Happy first day of fall! If you know me, you know how excited that makes me. Seriously, fall is my jam guys. I may be a little biased because my birthday is in October and I am guilty of celebrating the ENTIRE MONTH, so as soon as fall hits the countdown is on. There is just something about fall, the leaves, the movies, the treats, the pumpkins, the vibes, I could go on and on. I am in a serious relationship with fall and we are NEVER breaking up.

Every single day I walk up smiling and dancing because the weather allows me to wear sweaters, denim jackets, boots and all my fave fall staples without roasting to death and Starbucks has Pumpkin Spice Lattes.

Side note: Next time you go to Starbucks, order a pumpkin spice chai and thank me later.

We have officially hit the "wear a sweater in the morning, regret it in the afternoon kind of weather." Don't worry, I am here to solve all of your fall fashion fiascos with the help of Papaya Clothing! Check out my 3 favorite styles of this season's hottest fall trends perfect for styling and adding layers as the temps keep dropping:

1. Wide legs, band tees and baker boy hats

My life motto is the wider the leg, the better the pants. At first, I was a little apprehensive about the wide leg trouser trend, but that was until I put these bad boys on. HOLY COW are they comfortable. It's like walking around in really cute pajamas you guys, how good is that? These are the perfect pair of pants for the modern professional. That's you millennial. I went for a casual look with a band tee and the cutest baker boy hat I am obsessing over, but dress it up with a slinky blouse and heels for the perfect boss babe ensemble for your 9-5.

Also, lets talk about how amazing band tees are. Am I right? Give me all the band tees, they are my FAVE accessory as of late.

2. Velvet, boyfriend jeans and platforms

Okay Papaya, you outdid yourself with this blush, floral embroidered, velvet bomber. This bomber seriously combines my 3 favorite trends lately. It is a pretty thick jacket that adds the perfect layering effect to any fall #ootd. Blush is totally in right now, and for good reason. You can catch me in this velvet number (and all the velvet things) all fall long.

and these shoes....dying. They are a little eccentric, but some am I so we get along great.

3. Corsets and pom poms

Last, but not least let's talk about the corset trend. Papaya killed it with this top because it's the first corset detail top I have found that I actually LOVE and feel like I can wear without looking like blonde Kardashian wannabe. This money top combines a graphic tee with a built in corset detail keeping things on trend and keeping me still breathing. Millionaire dollar question: How did they wear corsets in the old days? I don't even like to wear a bra because I feel constructed. Sorry mom.

All of these looks are brought to you by Papaya who was generous enough to sponsor this post. Run, don't walk because these styles are going fast and fall is coming in hot. Now go do some online shopping and eat some candy corn because fall is BOMB!!!!1
